What's a typical day as a Mechanic You'll be:
Engine disassembly/assembly - Perform mechanic duties to disassemble and assemble engines, engine modules and accessories.
Clean - Perform cleaning of engine parts and components.
Perform visual checks to assess minimal part condition for continued use where applicable.
Understand the basic inspection techniques as a part of a career development path.
Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
Ability to manage tools and tooling to ensure serviceability before and after use and process appropriately when issues arise.
Knowledge, Skills and Required Abilities (Experience/Qualifications):
A&P License or two years aviation, aerospace and/or previous mechanical experience.
Turbine engine overhaul, and repair experience preferred in one or more of the following disciplines:
Disassembly, Assembly.
Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues.
Must have completed ACE Basics and have created an ACE profile (internal candidates).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite FAA Safety Sensitive Position Must be willing to work all shifts SAP familiarity (Preferred) Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Shifts:
2nd shift Mon - Thurs 4pm-230am Weekend Fri - Sun 630am-700pm What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
